How to improve torrent download speed?

Asked by akshay shah

can we manipulate torrent download speed by doing something similar to people do using 'cheat engine' on windows. if yes how to do it? is there any other way to improve torrent download speed? or it's just the network bandwidth that's all controls the download speeds? I watched few videos people claiming to have improved their torrent download speeds using 'cheat engine' or changing few settings here and there. Want to know if it's possible, how we can do it in ubuntu.

I use deluge as my torrent client.

All you can do is to open your TCP and UDP ports that uses deluge. Other stuff like cheat engine or similar are not usefull because the download speed depend on your internet connection and you can't bypass this.

Mainly it's available bandwidth and torrent health. You can try a lot of clients, see which you like.
