I've been following says I need to know my IP address for the server that I set up so that i can enter it into my web browser. How do I find out what it is?

If you run:

hostname --all-ip-addresses

You will see the IP addresses on the system you run it on.

Or run:

hostname

Use the system name and use DNS to resolve the name to an IP automatically.
