checkrestart shows /[aio] listed as a deleted file in use

Asked by Sindarina

With recent Trusty kernel versions, 'checkrestart' shows '/[aio]' as a deleted file in use for both mysqld and nginx. This happens even after a fresh restart of the system itself, or after restarting the services themselves. It's only for these two packages; MySQL is the stock Ubuntu version for Trusty (5.5.41), nginx (1.6.2) is from the nginx stable repository, latest available version for both.

Does not happen on any of our Debian boxes, with the same versions of the packages. Did not happen with earlier versions of Trusty kernels either, seems to have started somewhere in early December, IIRC?
