Just upgraded to12.04.2 LTS. Is there a way to delete recent files in Dash Home or stop it from saving them.

There is an item in dash with a yellow arrow. I forget the name. You can configure which applications and so forth to ignore in dash

Hi,

also you can install Ubuntu-Tweak program and configure lot of items from there.

To install Ubuntu-Tweak from terminal

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

Then call it from Dash and see in Unity section to disable the recent applications appearance in Dash..

Similar program is Unsettigns

Thank you

Thanks to all the help worked. Upgrade sure is different. Will take time to figure everything out. Still having trouble with DeDeVe but that's another problem. Thanks again to all.
