Delete history for dash?

Asked by C Liptau

How can I delete the history of files that show up when I open the Dash and then go to "find files"? It would show the recently accessed files and show a tumbnail.
How can I delete that history? How long is it saved or for how many files?

I don't want some photos to be seen by other people when they search for files.

Thank you!

(Ubuntu 11, I think. Just installed it 2 days ago and it's working great so far. Very happy with it)

sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install activity-log-manager

You can clear the logs using that as well as even tell the recent docs to ignore certain apps. Dead handy.

Following instructions to C Liptau to run sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install activity-log-manager computer fetched 19.3 MB of data indicated that it had read package lists twice built a dependency tree then read state information then

E: Unable to locate package activity-log-manager

ANYONE ever think of...Right click on un-wanted file or picture in Dash and hit "Delete"...
or is that too complicated...?

Can you help with this problem?
