Additionally you have to be aware that Ubuntu is copying packages from Debian, and also Debian does not have version 1.4.3 yet, see https://tracker.debian.org/dante

First step for getting 1.4.3 into Ubuntu is creating a bug report in the Debian bug tracker that they upgrade their package. Ubuntu will then follow in its development versions.

If the new version brings important improvements or bug fixes, then you can request a SRU or backport, see the links in the FAQ mentioned above.
