Update to latest Windows version to provide multiplayer compatibility

I would like to play LAN multiplayer with my friends who use the latest downloadable, compiled Windows package from https://www.dxx-rebirth.com/download-dxx-rebirth/ which is the github commit 096a678.

However, this results in a version conflict and multiplayer games are not possible, because the apt package is an old version.

Could you update the apt package to the above version, please? This would be really great.

I suggest you report a bug. This will get the package updated sooner rather than later. You can start the process with:

ubunt-bug d2x-rebirth

If you need a quick solution, then you most probably have to compile the program from source yourself.
