Update to 2.3 or 2.4 of the cyrus imapd planned?

Is there an update to the 2.3 or even 2.4 version of Cyrus Imapd planned?
Other distributions are shipping 2.3 since years, 2.4 seems also quite stable.
Are we awaiting Debian to update, so I may ask there?

Sorry, to be more precise, I would like to have Cyrus Imapd 2.4 on Lucid (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS).
The above mentioned package seems to be available only to newer distributions?

There are PPAs listed on that page -- you can use those, or you can recompile the packages yourself for an older distribution, as described here:
