Kodak printer linux compatibility

Asked by Jesse

I recently bought one of the new Kodak printers, yes before i figured out I would like to try Linux, ow I think I just have nothing to print to. Is this true or is there a work around. If there is no work around this problem, what printers do well with Unix based systems?

Thanks for the assist,

Jesse

Please read this compatibility http://www.openprinting.org/printer_list.cgi?make=Kodak

Then read this: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+question/43569

Sell your printer to a Windows only user and buy printer supported check here: http://www.openprinting.org/

Hp printers i found are supporting good Linux. http://hplipopensource.com/

Hope this helps
