According to linuxprinting.org, no, that printer isn't listed so it most probably not supported by any Linux distribution.

Have you asked Canon directly ? It may sound obvious, but some manufacturers don't advertise having binary drivers for Linux.

How do you do Fabian?

I got the printer partly because it said it worked with Macintosh; I figured since mac is based on Linux. I checked with canon and they do not support linux.

Re. Canon Pixma mp 190.

Thank you.

What about this link?

http://www.openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Canon-Pixma_MP190

I could not check that out yet, because the printer is at a friend of mine but i'm also interested in this issue.

Working Canon PIXMA MP190 driver added in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) Beta 2.

Can you help with this problem?
