Make a 7300 Lexmark Printer work with Ubuntu

I am trying to make my 7300 Lexmark Printer work with my Ubuntu Program and it does not print. It shows my printer on the pc but just does not print.

I do hope that you are not too late to put your order in for a printer that works in Linux.
Unfortunately the Lexmark 7300 does not.
