How do I install my Brother MFC-230 C printer onto Ubuntu?

I am trying to install a Brother MFC-230 C printer onto Ubuntu. I have the disk, but it only works for Windows and Mac. Can anyone tell me where to find the driver for this printer to work on Ubuntu? All I need is the driver. Thanks.

My new ubuntu 64 bit operating system will not recognize my all in one Brother printer, model MFC 240C. I did the printer setup and it shows the printer with the correct model and a check mark showing the printer as the designated printer, but it will not print. Can anyone help with a solution. I found drivers in the Synaptic package for MFC 3240 and installed them and that did not work.
