i executed lsb_release-a command and the output is "command not found" .The same output for uname-a.The out put for lsusb is

There is a space between the command and the option. You ran:

lsb_release-a; uname-a

When I stated:

lsb_release -a; uname -a

If you copy and paste the command instead of trying to retype it you won't botch the command. Why do you think I gave the exact command?

Raring is no longer supported in any way. I suggest you upgrade to a newer release. Precise is LTS and supported til April 2017. Saucy is the newest stable release. Both will allow you to upgrade directly to Trusty in April. Alternatively install the pre release of Trusty now and upgrade sramlessly into the release candidate.

how can i upgrade...shall i get any link..?

Please switch on your printer and provide the output of the following terminal commands:

uname -a
lsb_release -a
lsusb
find /usr/share/ppd -name "*WeP*"
dpkg -l cups

Have you looked at pages like http://www.wepindia.com/Support/Support.aspx?ItemCode=MFD-0385 for downloading the ppd files?

No output for find command.
Checked that website ,but found drivers only for WeP LQ 1050+DX Super model.

Please help.

Installed using Corresponding PPD file downloaded from their websit.But print quality is not 100% good.Word/Excel file are somewhat ok.

PDF ,Email , and printing from SAP are not at all good.

Have you any solution with you .for this..

If the drivers provided by the printer's supplier do not deliver good printing quality, there is not much that can be done by anybody else. There might be an option to select a better printing solution, maybe that helps.
