Canon printer doesn't recognize Ubuntu 12.04

My canon wireless printer doesn't do anything. Yes, I do have the CD disk from the printer if that helps...Any suggestions?

Dell Latitude

The CD that came with the printer will have only Windows drivers. Please go to this site.

Download Linux drivers. Just DEB files not rpm files. That should help.
