Samsung CLX 3185 laser printer with scanner: installing a downloaded driver

I have a Samsung CLX 3185 laser printer with scanner. I have downloaded the lastest drivers and software from the Samsung website. How do I install these items?

lsb_release -a; uname -a

I have downloaded the following files: UnifiedLinuxDriver 1.13.tar.gz, SmartPanel 1.13.tar.gz and PSU 1.13.tar.gz.
I have no idea how to use a terminal window so that I could enter "lsb_release -a; uname -a". Please explain what I should do.

Press CTRL+ALT+T and copy the command, paste the command to the terminal and hit ENTER
