Brother HL-2270dw: printer driver works on 10.04 but not on 12.04 LTS

I have installed my Brother HL-2270dw printer driver on 10.04 and 11.04 installations without any problem whatsoever. Today I configured a laptop with 12.04 LTS and installed the same printer driver, but it's not working. The installation goes OK, but when I try to print a test page, it doesn't do a thing. Nothing even appears on the print queue. Any suggestions to solve this?

How do you add the printer once the debs are installed?

Sorry, my bad. Downloaded the cups wrapper file but forgot to download the LPR file required for proper operation. After this was done, the printer functioned properly. Thanks.
