Lost My Printer canon mx 870

I had the MX 870 printer working correctly after I installed the drivers, I tried to network the printer to my other computer. In system settings in the printer set-up in printer options under "allowed users" I entered the name of my other comuter and after doing this the MX870 series-Printer completly disappeared from the printers in system setup. When I try to add it back in Add Printer tab it only shows the MX870 series-FAX. How do I get the printer back?

Thanks, but his didn't fix it. I removed the printer drivers (left the scanner driver installed) and re-installed them to see if that fix it, it didn't. I'm not sure what the "allowed users" option is but after adding the name of my other computer to it removed the printer from system set-up.

I went into the cups printing system from the browser and was able to fix it.
