Kodak Easy Share 5100 printer/scanner driver

Asked by Doug

Hey anyone good at drivers for printers or scanners.

I have a Kodak Easy Share 5100 all in one printer scanner

but they do not do drivers for it in Linux

This printer is cheap to run as the ink cartridges only cost $7 each for color and black and the scanner gives a great reproduction to pdf files. I would hate to have go back to windows to be able to use it.

Can anyone help.

Kodak not only have gone bust, but also flatly refused to support Linux.

This may help, seems to work parrially:

I suggest you buy HP in future, they solidly support Linux
