Cannon LBP Printer LBP 3100 wont print

I have a cannon LPB 3100 printer.

And after I have followed all the instructions to get it to print. it won't still print
Usage:
  ccpdadmin [-p Printer-name -o Printer-dev-path]
  ccpdadmin [-x Remove-Printer-name]

 CUPS_ConfigPath = /etc/cups/
 LOG Path = None
 UI Port = 59787

 Entry Num : Spooler : Backend : FIFO path : Device Path : Status
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
     [0] : LBP3100 : : : /dev/usb/lp0 : invalid Spool Name

Is there some other way I can it to print documents in Ubunto 11.10. I have download the lates drivers for it for ubunto 11.10

The OS is called Ubuntu, not Ubunto.

Did you grab the printer from the Canon Europe site....?

Hi Andrew sorry my mistake for not spelling the name OS name Ubuntu correctley.

1) I did down loaded the driver version 2.40 for the Canon uk website
2) I did follow every set of instructions availabile to me on the forums

So please help me with this driver problem

Kan somebode please help me with the above I need to remove both printer so that I can re -install the drivers
