Printer won't print, although Jobs Completed

Asked by Jack Costa

I've looked over some other posts, but I couldn't find a specific solution. I'm a genuine Linux newbie. Just installed recently, so bear with me.

THe printer in question is an old Lexmark 1100 connected via parallel port. I've used the lm1100 driver for LSB 3.2 Debian.
Everything seems to be in working order, but it won't print. And just claims the jobs are completed.

Let me know if any other informationed, like outputs via terminal are need. Thanks in advance!

It's not the X1100 which uses the x600 drivers. But the much older 1100

have you even tried the driver that actionparsnip mentioned?
your print jobs isn't printing because you have the WRONG driver installed.
when it comes to lexmark, people find they can get other drivers to work.

Can you help with this problem?
