unable to connect canon mp495 printer

It is a new Canon, Pixma MP495. I have loaded the CD but it still not print the document

The CD is of no use as it is a Widows driver CD. Did you grab the driver from the Canon site?

google "canon asia" and/or "canon europe". one or both of these sites will have a linux driver for your printer. download and install the driver.
