Kodak ESP5250 AO1 loads paper but does not print

I can print copies and test page but when I send a document from computer to printer the paper enters and the print head cycles several times and then stops. The printer shows printing but never does.

Kodak printers and Linux are not good friends.

Yes, I have downloaded c2esp_23_i386.deb. It has worked for some time. I have now contacted Kodak and they are checking to see if maybe problem is with printer.

Kodak went bust dude. They actually sent a guy a letter expressing they will not be supporting anything outside Windows.

Thank you, I found your info interesting. I already had a Kodak printer when I found Linux. I love Linux and hope I live to see the day Microsoft bites the dust. I am an old fart on a fixed income and just bought a combo pack ink cartigages that I probably won't be able to return. I will be looking into a new printer and will contack Kodak and complain hoping that it in some way help others.
