Can't print to canon pixma ip1500 after upgrade to 11.10.

Asked by Douglas Embry

Printer drivers are set up correctly. Printer is set up correctly. Localhost:631 says printing completed. When trying to print testpage, printer starts blinking and then says printing page and then a box comes up saying printing completed and nothing has printed and light on printer stops blinking. Printer works fine from Mac and windows pc as well as printing over the network.

Did you go to the Canon site to check for support?

I found that on the Canon site, it is the driver.

How come I can find this and you couldn't....?

Thank you for the quick response. I already have these drivers installed on the computer, still not printing. Tried purging cups, re-installin cups. Still not printing with ubuntu.
