I cannot download my printer from the CD

I have a Lemark 5600 series printer, but I do not know how to install the installation software on the Cd which came with the printer. In fact I don't know how to install any programmes on CD, e.g. Paintshop and Windows XP Home. Also my camera installation cds.

is this a new computer you bought? it came with software that you had to install yourself? are you runing ubuntu and are trying to install program in ubuntu?

if you just bought a new computer and nothing is installed on it, i would suggest you go back to where you bought the computer and have them install the software for you, if you aren't very technical.
