CUPS system-config-printer Maintenance starts only with 1) "print test page" button.

Sounds similar like question 96889, but this is working one step further ?

system-config-printer , --> Maintenance ( bottom part of opening window under each printer)
This is same for all printers which I'm using = different printer doesn't matter !

All works after following step 1) :

Maintenance starts only with 1) "print test page" button.
If I try to start with 2) "Print self test page" or 3) "Clear print heads", no response.
If I start with "Print test page" button, after that options 2) and 3) are working.

This has been with Ubuntu and MInt, probably first time it was 2010, but I thought that updates will handle it.
Biggest nuisance is that it takes some time to print out big "Test page", if I need only print ".. self test page" or first to clean printer heads. Is there any settings ?
What information I should include for more detailled examination ?
