I can't configure my Epson SX405 printer by USB

I could see the system recognizes it by lsusb, but in the printer configurator it doesn't give me the usb choosing option. I'm using ubuntu 11.10 in 32 bit.

have you installed the printer driver for your printer?
if you, just google "epson printer driver linux" and you will find a link to avasys.
click on that link and download and install the printer driver. choose the DEB file.
