What interface is the printer using?

Install the LX-1050 driver, I have a feeling it will work. From memory, I seem to recall that the 1050 was the wide carriage version, so the driver was actually the same.

This won't give you text only printing. To do this you would have to save the data as text, and then use lpr to output text only.

Hi Nilesh!
I believe you need cups installed on you system.
If done, i usually open a browser and type "http://localhost:631" to configure the printer.

To Install the the driver, open "printing", then click the 'Add' button. Select the interface, then select 'Epson'. You will then be given a list of printers. I note that there is now an LX-300+ driver listed on the current version. Select this.
You can now change the description (name, location etc) if you wish. The printer should now be installed.
