I bought a canon ip2702 printer. How do I get it to work under Ubuntu

I am jjust trying to install this canon printer. I was hoping that I could find help. thanks

canon in north america doesn't distribute linux drivers.

google "canon asia" or "canon europe" and search both sites for a linux driver. sometimes both europe and asia will have a linux driver, other times only one will.

Can you help with this problem?
