There is error give after intall ppd file for printer pixma IP 2772

I down load the printer driver cnijfilter-ip2700series-3.30-1-i386-rpm from canon web site ,My printer
pixma IP 2772 , How i add this driver when installing the printer

when try to install ppd file it give error like this Printer 'Canon-iP2700-series' requires the 'pstocanonij' program but it is not currently installed. Please install it before using this printer.

I get ppd file from following file down load from Canon website
cnijfilter-ip2700series-3.30-1-i386-rpm

Michael Gruz has made a PPA repository of Canon drivers on launchpad.

It's made life a lot easier for Canon owners.
