How do I download drivers for installation of Canon MP280 Printer???

Do not currently have a printer and purchased a canon MP 280 that was suppose to interface with your operating system. Cannot download the drivers. If this is not possible, the only other printer I have available is: Kodak ESP c310. Finally, if the aforementioned is not possible, please advise a printer that will work with your operating system. to your repository, open a terminal by press ctrl + alt + t then type:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:michael-gruz/canon
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ............
