Brother make Linux drivers. Did you check their site?

I have been to the Brother website but their command line instructions are not clear (and are different to another website I have found). Steps to make directory ok, as is the download (I think) but getting the drive installed in the drive has come to no good so when I use the 'modify printer function in 'local host' I get no joy. the printer itself is showing communication but in the local host communiqué there is no correspondence.

cd; wget http://www.brother.com/pub/bsc/linux/dlf/dcp130clpr-1.0.1-1.i386.deb; sudo dpkg -i ./dcp130clpr-1.0.1-1.i386.deb; rm ./dcp130clpr-1.0.1-1.i386.deb; wget http://www.brother.com/pub/bsc/linux/dlf/dcp130ccupswrapper-1.0.1-1.i386.deb; sudo dpkg -i ./dcp130ccupswrapper-1.0.1-1.i386.deb; rm ./dcp130ccupswrapper-1.0.1-1.i386.deb

Should make it work.

There is a printer applet in Ubuntu, if you reboot with the printer attached, it should install

Can you help with this problem?
