CUPS not printing for one user
I've just installed Ubuntu on my old HP Pavillion (Athlon XP 2.8 GHz), as a part of my home wireless network. Beside my own user, I've created another user for my wife, also with administrator permissions. We have a printer attached via USB to our iMac (also networking through the wi-fi router), which uses CUPS as printer server. Here is the issue: while the printer would print flawlessly (without asking anything) from my Ubuntu machine's own session, it would keep requiring authorization from my wife's, to no avail, no matter what userid and password is entered, and the print job would get held forever in the queue. Keep also in mind that the printer is shared by the iMac to be accessed by everyone, so no userid/password should be ever required.
I've examined the /etc/cups/
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
