Cant find and execute driver for canon printer LBP3010

Asked by Omar Abokanj

A year ago I bought my canon printer LBP3010 for my windows OS system and it worked properly. Since a few weeks, I switched to Ubuntu 11.04 and couldn't find or execute a proper driver for my printer.

I'm very unexperienced within Linux/Ubuntu, so if anyone can help , it would be very appreciated...

For now thanks!
Gr Omar

Did you not check the Canon site for support?Canon do offer some Linux support for some printers but it's still pretty half-assed.

Download the driver file and extract it. You will find deb files you can install.

Can you help with this problem?
