I can't get my Canon Printer LBP2900B working on Ubuntu11.o4, though it worked on WindowsXP.

My printer model is-" CANON LBP2900B", different from the listed model-" CANON LBP 2900". (ASEAN-make)
I tried the installation according to the various instructions of the Ubuntu Forum as I understood, for LBP2900, but I was unable get it functioning. As I know very little of terminal-handling, I shall be grateful if a detailed step by step procedure is given to solve my problem.
