Brother MFC J-615W cannot get this thing to work with Ubuntu 11.04

I've browsed, tried all the command prompt shortcuts. I've been through the Brother help files. basically, I'm an idiot about using the Terminal and installing anything on Ubuntu. Can someone please just attach a link, easy cut and paste and additional instructions on what to do after that? I'm at my wits end and heading back to Afghanistan in 2 days!! I need this thing set up before I leave, please help!

Brother make Linux driver debs. Have you not seen this site. They are only 32bit so if your OS is 64bit you may have issues.
