how do you enable/install a Canon PIXMA MP 280. Have the installtion disc..

Canon PIXMA MP 280 will not autorun. Found instructions for Brothers and HP but not for Canon. Please help.

Hello,

Canon are not overly friendly to Linux. The disc you have will almost certainly be for Windows.

You would be better off with another make.

Here are the Canon PIXMA MP280 printer drivers that have been validated and tested for Ubuntu 10.04. They should also work on newer versions.
