Installing an Epson Dx4400 printer driver

Asked by rkcarney

I have an Epson DX4400 printer that will just about run under Linux, but only to print A4 pages and is amazingly slow. Consequently i have to use my Windows XP distro to get a decent result, but it is so painfully slow at loading up and unloading that it is a serious pain aslo don't like Windows systems too intrusive and self protecting.

marcus,
Thanks for the avasys site, however has not changed the printer speed or recognition of paper formats.
Downloaded the i385 deb driver.
