unable to install dymo 400 labelwriter

is anyone at Canonical working with Dymo to write the ubuntu software for this printer... is there a printer driver that will work in place of this? (POS receipt printer) this should a solution....

i typed "dymo 400 label linux driver" in good and the first link that came up lead to the driver for this device. the website says the driver had been tested on lucid lynx and it works perfectly.
