Which Epson & TVSE dot matrix printers will work with UBUNTU 9.0 and above.Printing should support PDF,Word,Excel formats

This site lists all sorts of printers, including dot matrix, that does/does not work on Linux.

PDF, Word, Excel formats are not printer dependent. These documents will print on all printers given that you have the driver. However, older printers, such as daisywheel printers, are not capable of drawing borders and producing graphics.
