Need help installing MP250 series printer I just bought!

It's a Canon PIXMA MP250 inkjet photo, all in one printer.

Please tell have you already tried to use the menu:

System→Administration→Printing

Server→New Printer ....

Select connection type, brand, model...

I did that but I don't see my model on there MP220 is what selected. I press print an it says the following Test page submitted as job 25 but it doesn't print.

I made copies of several items an that part worked but scanning, regular printing doesn't seem to work.

Just wanted to let you know I installed my printer with the help of these directions I found online. I followed them exactly an everything is working great. It scans, prints, and copies wonderfully. I'm going to post the link below for any other users who may need it.
