You may have trouble getting this printer to work with any flavor of Linux. Here's a review at about 2/3 down the page at:
http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-ESP-6150-All-in-One-Printer/product-reviews/B00007AKDL/ref=cm_cr_pr_fltrmsg?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0

Here's the review I saw: (July 4, 2010)
"his review is from: Kodak ESP 6150 All-in-One Printer (Electronics)
don't plan on using this printer with any Linux system - simply amazing that Kodak is incapable of accommodating simple LPD printing via TCP or UNIX spooling systems (CUPS would be preferred)"

The page at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupportComponentsPrinters doesn't list Kodak printers at all, though that listing may be dated.

As nice as the printer appears to be for a Windows or Mac computer environment, it's probably not ready for a Linux environment. I'd suggest that instead you get a new HP printer or buy an older one on eBay.

I can't help you any further on this. Perhaps someone else has a more positive suggestion for you.

Please also verify the lack of support from kodak from the http://www.openprinting.org/printers/ database
