Could you provide us with further information so we can help you. I have written a small tool to help in gathering this important information (nothing private is collected). Could you download it from http://www.mediafire.com/?y1ynkimzwlo and save it. Double click on the file and it will open in the archive manager. Click extract and extract the file. Double-click the extracted file and click 'Run in terminal' It will create a text file in your home folder called sysinfo.txt. Attach the file to the question or e-mail it to me if you cannot upload it to a LaunchPad question. My address is in my profile.

It's actually a

Lexmark X2670

Please don't truncate names, it makes things very confusing.

The driver is here, this could have been solved ages ago if you'd have posted:

I have a Lexmark X2670 and I need drivers for Ubuntu

Here is how to get the driver

cd ~; wget http://www.downloaddelivery.com/downloads/cpd/lexmark-inkjet-08-driver-1.0-1.i386.deb.sh.zip; unzip ./lexmark-inkjet-08-driver-1.0-1.i386.deb.sh.zip; rm ./lexmark-inkjet-08-driver-1.0-1.i386.deb.sh.zip; chmod +x ./lexmark-inkjet-08-driver-1.0-1.i386.deb.sh; ./lexmark-inkjet-08-driver-1.0-1.i386.deb.sh

If it moans that it needs sudo then run:

sudo ./lexmark-inkjet-08-driver-1.0-1.i386.deb.sh

But we shall see, hopefully the script will handle things.

Thanks. It took awwhile, but your info did prove to be helpful. However, as you could see in the way I posed my question, I am quite ignorant of this whole process, and needed much more detail.
