Landscape printing issues (bug #1247740)

I wanted to confirm that ths issue is still unresolved. My Printer: Brother Hl-5450dn with driver installed from manufacturer's website.
I am running CUPS v1.7.2 and still having the issue. I ahve used workaround and successfully exported to PDF and printed landscap from PDF. This does not appear to be the optimal answer. FYI, it appears to clearly by CUPS as I share printe with a RedHat Linux system v6.5 (work) and I have the same issue.

Then post on the bug. Creating a question makes no sense at all
