csound is in conflict with ITSELF, synacptic.

Asked by Lui Noobie

i wanted to install the package csound via synaptic.
when i checked the properties of csound (which else packages are needed, etc...) i found written there "in conflict with: csound".

its somehow really funny and melancholic. Why does this package stand in conlfict with ITSELF???? - i thought this would be something rather humans do than packages.

But this way its really no use...

please fix the package or tell me how to handle it.

Thanks a lot!

You seem to have created a bug with the same information Bug #1659127
but the version number that you wrote there must be wrong.
There is no version 1:605~dfs91build1 for Ubuntu 16.04. You probably mistyped the real version number 1:6.05~dfsg1-7build1

Please provide (in addition to what actionparsnip asked for) the output of the command

apt-cache showpkg csound

Can you help with this problem?
