The ones you are are referring to seem to have old content (2014~2015)

Based on CRIU website ( , the new packages for ubuntu are frequently uploaded here (

Unfortunately I could not find the related PPA, and the one that I used is for CRIU package maintainer (

Is there any method to find correct PPA? In the past, I tried to install the CRIU from source code, however due to complex dependency structure using pre-configure packages is highly preferred.

Bionic is released in April this year. It has a later version.

Ubuntu will frequently have older packages as it is aimed at newcomers to Linux. Stability is champion over getting the latest packages in.

If there are significant bug and security fixes in the newer version then please report a bug and the package may be updated sooner.
