The creox user data and setting are under:

/home/youruser/.kde/share/apps/creox
/home/youruser/.kde/share/apps/creox/preset.data
/home/youruser/.kde/share/config/creoxrc

Usually remove with purging and reinstalling a package restore solve it.

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

apt-get --purge remove creox
apt-get install creox

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Hope this helps

In addition to deleting the user data files listed above, immediately after starting creox again I saved a new preset titled "Default" so I can reset the effects more easily.

Can you help with this problem?
