12.04 groups administration: how to add my user to a group

Asked by VaclavPe on 2012-06-04

Hello,

I installed new Ubuntu into VirtualBox and need to add myself to vboxsf group to access the shared folder. Where and how can I do that ? I am lost in the new desktop environment, there is no "System-Administration-Users and Groups" menu item at all.

Solved, thank you. But no GUI utility at all ?

Just quicker and easier to give a command you can copy and paste rather than roll out a long list of stuff to click.
