Just remove the conky package and another apt-get -f should finish the installation.

I'm not sure what the issue was with this but it was a straight upgrade from Jaunty (all latest updates) to Karmic (all latest updates).
If Conky breaks and an "apt-get -f dist-upgrade" is required to continue, will this be the case for users who are running it through Update Mgr?

If so, this sounds like it should be listed in "Bugs" to me and not suitable for "Answers".

Could you explain why you think this upgrade crash is not a bug?
