HPLIP 3.20.6 RHEL7

Asked by Mogamad Allie Saal

I need to update my printer drivers in CUPS, and the printer is supported in the latest drivers hplip-3.20.6-RHEL7-x86_64.rpm. This package doesnt install as it gives the following error.

 sudo rpm -U hplip-3.20.6-RHEL7-x86_64.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        libImageProcessor.so()(64bit) is needed by hplipfull-3.20.6-0.x86_64
        libImageProcessor.so(VERS_1.0)(64bit) is needed by hplipfull-3.20.6-0.x86_64

This is a production system and I don't want to use pm -ivh --force --nodeps

Is there other alternatives to update this package.
