The almighty CUBE

How can I get the cube to where i can see the whole cube. I am inside the cube and I want to see the whole thing. Please help i am very new at this. I have also downloaded all the things was told and still do not see the advanced desktop tab in the preferences section.

Make sure Compiz Settings Manager is installed. Open a terminal and type

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

Next open the setting manager with the menu System-> Preferences-> CompizConfig Settings Manager. Then go to the Desktop Cube and select the Behavior tab. Untick the setting ¨Inside Cube¨.
